Michael Stoval

Michael Stovall is a black farmer who lives in Town Creek, Alabama. He has farmed for many years and is the fourth generation of farms in his family. Stovall is a cattle producer who has been fighting discrimination with the USDA for 29 years and received a finding of discrimination and a breach of contract. In addition, Stovall also runs a non-profit organization cooperative for minorities. He educates and trains beginning farmers on how to farm to qualify them for USDA farm ownership loans and operating loans.
