Mike Camoin, Northeast Filmmakers Lab. Producer / Director Mike Camoin has studied acting for directors with Judith Weston and is best known for his documentaries INSIDE THE BLUE LINE and THE BATTLES OF SARATOGA. Camoin led the independent film movement in northeastern New York, spurring talks to fuel the NYS Film Tax rebate program. His short film “RELAX” shot on S16 mm premiered in Russia which led Camoin to establishing the international Capital Cinema Cultural Exchange Inc., which today enters its 9th annual Northeast Filmmakers Lab. Camoin has served on Sundance feature film winners, as UPM for director Miles Joris-Peyrafitte’s Special Grand Jury Prize AS YOU ARE, locations manager for Jeremiah Zagar’s WE THE ANIMALS; James Franco’s THE PRETENDERS with other credits including Derek Cianfrance’s THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES starring Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez.
