Rick Parks is a former lead nuclear engineer at the Three Mile Island nuclear facility who blew the whistle in 1983 on falsifications of safety tests and other shortcuts that could trigger a worse nuclear disaster during the cleanup of the original event in 1979. His story of moral courage and the retaliation he suffered is profiled in the Netflix docuseries Meltdown: Three Mile Island.
